Terms of Service
The rules for using LaunchBird, in plain language: what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and how billing works.
Last updated August 2026
1. This agreement
These terms are the agreement between LaunchBird, operated by Vertili, and the agency or person using the service. By creating a workspace you accept them.
2. Who can use LaunchBird
You must be at least 18 years old. If you are signing up for an agency or company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
3. Your account
- Keep your credentials confidential and use a strong, unique password.
- You are responsible for what the team members you invite do in your workspace.
- Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.
4. Your content
Everything you put into LaunchBird remains yours: clients, projects, files, proposals, invoices and updates.
You give us the limited permission we need to host, store, process and display that content in order to run the service for you, including displaying what you choose to publish to a client portal. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your account.
You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload and publish.
5. Client portals
You decide what is published to a client portal and who is invited to it. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish and for the confidentiality obligations you have to your own clients.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use LaunchBird for anything unlawful, or to store or share content you do not have the rights to.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorized access to the service or other workspaces.
- Do not resell or provide access to the service as though it were your own product.
- Do not scrape or bulk-extract the service outside the export features we provide.
7. Plans, billing and cancellation
- LaunchBird is sold as a subscription, billed monthly or annually. Prices are shown on the pricing page.
- Annual plans currently include a 20% limited-time launch discount and are billed once for twelve months.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your workspace settings. There is no cancellation fee, and your workspace stays available until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Fees already paid are not refundable for partial periods, except where the law requires otherwise.
- If prices change, the new price applies from your next renewal and we will tell you before it takes effect.
- Prices exclude taxes, which are added where required.
8. Invoicing features and payments
LaunchBird helps you create, share and track invoices and record payments against a client's balance. LaunchBird does not process payments and does not move money between you and your clients.
How you collect payment, the terms you set, and the taxes you charge your clients are your responsibility.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep LaunchBird available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, incidents and third-party outages happen.
The product evolves. We may add, change or retire features. If we retire something significant, we will give account holders notice in the product.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using LaunchBird at any time and delete your workspace.
We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, puts the service or other customers at risk, or has unpaid fees. Except in urgent cases we will contact you first and give you a chance to export your data.
11. Disclaimers
LaunchBird is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. LaunchBird is not accounting, legal or tax advice, and it is not a system of record for your finances.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data.
Our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for LaunchBird in the twelve months before the claim.
13. Indemnity
You agree to cover claims brought against us that arise from your content, your use of the service in breach of these terms, or your relationship with your own clients.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the courts located there.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will notify account holders in the product when a change is material. Continuing to use LaunchBird after a change means you accept it.
