Owners, project managers, designers and contractors do not need the same access. Member permissions let you give people what their role requires and nothing else. Assigned client or project access keeps someone on the accounts they were hired for, instead of opening the whole workspace.

Clients are invited to their portal separately from the team. They can follow the work without sitting in your Work Queue, and they never consume a paid team seat. The roster you pay for is the people doing the work.
